Fire Restoration

Fire can devastate a home or business , and the smell of smoke can be difficult to remove. If you have damage from a fire we can help. After the fire has been put out, we start by going room to room and cataloging all of the contents. We write down and take photos of everything that will be thrown away or salvaged to help ensure you are fully covered for your losses. Once we have cataloged and removed everything the hard work begins.

The next step depends on the size of the fire. With a small fire we completely clean the house. We wipe down all the walls with chemical sponges to remove the initial traces of smoke, and then do a thorough cleaning with a liquid chemical to fully remove the smoke damage. Finally we prime and paint to completely get rid of the smoke odor in the house.

With a large fire we often need to take the house down to the studs. We take out everything. Once everything is removed we seal the entire house with a latex oil paint to get rid of any lingering smoke smell. At that point we put the entire house back together. We can handle all stages of the restoration and have contacts for HVAC work, electricians, plumbers, roofers, engineers, or anything else that is required to get your home or business as good as new. We are also able to assist with any necessary inspections or permits. Finally we finish up by fully painting the home, including all trim and detail work. When we are done you would never even know there was a fire.

No matter if we are coming back to perform the restoration work or not we always leave the in  the condition we would want to find it in if we were going to do the next stage. Our personal philosophy is to leave  a job site in the same condition we would leave our homes at the end of the day. We treat every job like we have to come back the next day, whether we are handling the final restoration work or not.
