Water/Mold Restoration

Water damage can strike suddenly. Whether from a burst pipe, a broken appliance, or a cracked water line once the water starts flowing you need to act quickly. The first step is shutting the water off and locating the damage. If you do not have a plumber already called, we can work with you to have one come out as quickly as possible.

After the water is off, and the damage has been minimized we will schedule an initial inspection or we can begin work immediately. We will be happy to submit an initial bid for the restoration, but we always recommend our customers get 2-3 competitive bids to submit to their insurance companies.

We start by using a moisture meter and other tools to determine the extent of the water damage. Whether one room or the entire house, it is vital to know the extent of the damage before the cleanup begins. Once we have a game plan we begin by removing all furniture and fixtures from the affected area to avoid any further damage during the cleanup process.  For the walls we remove the baseboards, remove the drywall, and remove the affected insulation.  We remove all flooring from carpet and pads, to hardwood as needed. Once the soaked material has been removed we bring in fans and dehumidifiers to remove all the excess moisture.  We temporarily will leave this material on site for the insurance inspectors to review, after they have completed their inspection we will remove and dispose of all debris.  After everything is dry it is time to move onto the restoration or remodeling stage of your repairs.

This process can take a couple days to finish and we understand this is a very stressful time for homeowners. All of our clients have our personal cell phone numbers to contact us any time with any questions or concerns.  No matter if we are coming back to perform the restoration work or not we always leave the area in  the condition we would want to find it in if we were going to do the next stage.  Our personal philosophy is to leave  a job site in the same condition we would leave our homes at the end of the day. We treat every job like we have to come back the next day, whether we are handling the final restoration work or not.
